Meet the Christ Church staff team below.

JPJohn-Paul Harper – Assistant Minister (Head of Maturity and Apprenticeship)
John-Paul (JP) has been attending Christ Church for many years and joined the staff team in 2010 as assistant minister working particularly with apprentice training. After graduating from Stellenbosch University, JP did an apprenticeship at Christ Church in 2004. He then worked as a Software Developer in 2005/2006 and went on to train at GWC from 2007-2009. During this time he also got married to Julia and have subsequently had the joy of two girls Emma and Adele. As a family they are committed to the work of the gospel and to seeing a new generation of faithful gospel ministers trained and equipped for kingdom service.
SeanSean de Kock – Assistant Minister (Head of Ministry and Student Work)
Sean joined the staff team of Christ Church in 2012 as a Student Worker. He was raised in Somerset West and studied Engineering at Stellenbosch University, after which he spent two years doing at apprenticeship at St Helen’s church in London. He met and married Lauren during his time in the UK and they have returned to take up gospel work in South Africa. Sean completed his studies at George Whitefield in 2011 and is passionate about seeing gospel growth amongst students. He enjoys good coffee, reading Christian books, as well as writing computer software. 
JayThea Viljoen – Assistant Minister (Head of Membership and Children’s Work)
Thea joined the Christ Church staff team in 2015 as our Children’s Worker.
JayJay Stoms – Assistant Minister (International Student Work)
Jay joined the Christ Church staff to work with International students in 2014. Previously, he was a lecturer at a Bible College in Malawi for 12 years (2002-2014). Jay has a Masters of Divinity (1993) and a Theological Masters from Stellenbosch (2017). Jay is married to Laura and they have three daughters, Clara (13), Katherine (11) and Lauren (9).
